Gluten-Free Beef Cheeseburger Pie

  1. 1 lb (453 g) lean ground beef 80/20
  2. 3/4 cup chopped onion
  3. salt & pepper (to taste)
  4. 4 oz (113 g) shredded cheddar cheese
  5. 1/2 cup Bisquick® Gluten Free mix
  6. 1 cup (236 ml) milk
  7. 3 eggs
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F/205°C.
  2. Lightly oiled a 9" pie plate.
  3. Preheat a large non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Add in ground beef and onion, stirring often, until thoroughly cooked.
  5. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Drain off excess fat.
  6. Spread the cooked beef evenly in the pie plate and top with shredded cheese.
  7. Combine Bisquick mix, milk and eggs in a bowl until well blended, the pour over the ground beef.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, until knife inserted comes out clean.
