Spicy Ground Turkey with Tomato Sauce (for Cabbage Soup Diet)

  1. 1 can (48-fl oz/1.36 L) tomato juice
  2. 1 Lipton onion soup mix
  3. 2 cans (14.5-oz/411-g) diced tomatoes
  4. 1 lb (450 g) ground turkey
  5. 1 green onion (finely chopped)
  6. 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  7. chili powder (to taste)
  8. dash of dried herb seasoning
  9. salt (to taste)
  1. Put tomato juice and soup mix in a pot and bring to the boil.
  2. Add in diced tomatoes, ground turkey, green onion and bell pepper.
  3. Bring the whole ingredients to the boil again, then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Cook for about half an hour, or until all the vegetables are soften.
  5. Season with chili powder, herb and salt to taste.
